About Me

My photo
Marissa Consiglieri
Hello! Welcome to my blog, MCC, on Art, Art History, Et Cetera. Allow me to tell you a bit about myself. I was born and raised in Lima, Peru. I emigrated to Canada, with my family, in the year 1979. During a visit to my country, in 1998, I was invited to teach in the School of Architecture at the Peruvian University of Applied Science (UPC), where I have taught courses in the History of Art and Architecture - in person and online - until 2021. Also, I have been requested to give conferences, facilitate workshops, curate art exhibits, and write articles in different venues. I have a Master of Arts, with a specialty in Art History and a bachelor's degree, with two majors: History of Art and French: Language and Literature; both awarded by the University of Toronto. I look forward to your comments on any entry you wish to write about; you could write in Spanish, English, French, or Italian. I am trying to learn Turkish, but I haven't got there yet. Cheers! *Profile photo: Construction of a villa in the hypogeum of Trebius Justus, IV Century, Catacomb of Via Latina, Rome.
